TESTING & QUALITY

Every lot, one workflow.

How every lot is documented.

A sample from every lot is analyzed by Freedom Diagnostics, an independent third-party laboratory, using HPLC and LC-MS. The report becomes the lot's Certificate of Analysis.

  1. Material intake

Incoming material is logged with source, receipt date, nominal quantity and SKU. Nothing enters the catalog without a record.

  2. Lot assignment

A lot number in the format SC-YYMM-NNN is assigned and printed on every vial label of that lot.

  3. Sampling

A sample is drawn from the lot and dispatched to the independent laboratory with the lot number and nothing else.

  4. Independent laboratory analysis

Freedom Diagnostics analyzes the sample by HPLC and LC-MS and issues its report.

  5. COA review

The report is checked against the lot record — compound, quantity, lot number, date.

  6. Publication

The certificate is published to the COA library and the lot record at sc-peptides.com/coa/[LOT] goes live.

  7. Traceability

Retired lots move to the archive; their documents remain available so any vial can be traced for as long as it exists.

METHODS IN USE

HPLC

High-performance liquid chromatography. Separates the sample into its components and reports the share attributable to the target compound — the purity figure on the certificate.

LC-MS

Liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. Measures molecular mass to confirm the identity of the compound against its expected value.
