DOCUMENTATION
What is a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the report issued by the independent laboratory that analyzed a sample from a specific lot. It states the methods used and the results obtained for that lot. SC Peptides publishes a COA for every lot and links it to the lot number printed on the vial label.
How do I verify a lot?
Enter the lot number in Batch Verification, or scan the QR code on the vial label, which opens that lot's record at sc-peptides.com/coa/[LOT] with the original PDF.
Where is the lot number located?
After LOT: on the vial label. Format: SC-YYMM-NNN.
How do I download the laboratory report?
Open the lot record and select View original COA PDF. The file is the document issued by the laboratory.
What analytical information is available?
Identity and purity as reported by Freedom Diagnostics using HPLC and LC-MS, the test date, the document number, and — where verified for the material — CAS number, molecular formula and molecular weight.
ORDERING
What is your shipping policy?
Orders dispatch within 1–2 business days from Southern California by USPS or UPS. Shipping is free on orders over $250; below that it is a flat $15, shown before payment. We currently ship within the United States only.
Do you accept returns or issue refunds?
No. All sales are final: we do not accept returns or exchanges, we do not issue refunds, we do not replace shipments, and an order cannot be cancelled once it is placed. That applies to a shipment that arrives damaged or incorrect, arrives late or does not arrive. Money is returned only where we cancel an order we have already charged. See the Returns Policy.
Who should purchase these materials?
Researchers and institutions, 21 years of age or older, purchasing materials for in-vitro laboratory research. Every order requires a research-use acknowledgement at checkout. We refuse or cancel orders that indicate any other use; where we have already charged such an order, the payment is returned in full.
COMPLIANCE
What does "for laboratory research use only" mean for me as a purchaser?
It states the sole purpose for which the material is supplied. It does not by itself determine the regulatory status of a material in your jurisdiction; you are responsible for the requirements that apply to you. See the Research Use Policy.
Do you answer questions about using a material?
No. We answer questions about documentation, lots and orders only.
